Day 1: Nador – Fes
Pick up at the NADOR airport. After about 3 hours on the road, we arrive in Fez. Day 2: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Erfoud – Merzouga
At 8 in the morning, we will pick you up at the hotel and head to Merzouga, crossing the Middle Atlas, a mountain range that extends 350 kilometers from the southwest to the northwest of the country. On the way we will pass through towns such as Ifrane, known as the “Moroccan Switzerland” for the architecture of its houses, and Azrou, one of the most famous Berber cities in Morocco. We will cross the Valley and the Garganas de Ziz and we will pass through towns such as Midelt or Erfoud. From Erfoud we will take a desert track until we reach Merzouga. We will spend the night in a hotel near the entrance of the desert. Accommodation, dinner and breakfast at the Hotel.
Day 3: Enjoying the desert Merzouga
The second day we will dedicate to enjoy the most spectacular part of the Eastern Sahara. We will enter the desert in the 4X4, we will visit nomadic villages, we will see oases and we will ride through the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Following the route, we will visit the famous town of Khamlia, where the Gnawa, descendants of slaves from Africa, are found, and we will enjoy their surprising folk music. At sunset, we will return to the hotel to take the camels that will take us to the Berber camp in the heart of the dunes, where we will have dinner and spend the night in tents. There are luxury tents (private bathroom), which cost € 30 more per person.
Day 4: Rissani – Ziz Valley – Middle Atlas – Fes
This day begins with an unforgettable image, the sunrise in the desert. After sunrise we will take the camels again to return to the hotel, where we will have breakfast and can shower. on the way back to Fez we will pass through Tafilalt, Rissani (origin of the Alauí dynasty and former capital of the Alauí sultans), Azrou and Ifrane. In the Azrou national park we will stop at the monkey forest, where you can observe them and even feed them. Accommodation and breakfast in Hotel.
Day 5: Fes – Nador
Breakfast at the hotel in Fez. Taking into account the flight schedule, we will have free lunch in the Medina of Fez, or on the way to Nador or Fez airport. End of our services.
